Isaac Oluwagbemi President 2024-2025
Rotary International President Stephanie Urchick has announced the 2024-25 presidential theme: "The Magic of Rotary."
As we begin a new Rotary year, let us embrace the opportunity to create the magic of Rotary in our community and beyond. Our commitment to service and making a positive impact remains steadfast.
Building on our existing legacies, we will continue to create this magic with every local and international project, every dollar donated, and every new passionate member inducted into Rotary Waterloo.
To our esteemed Rotary Waterloo club, I am thrilled to serve as your President and look forward to the incredible opportunities ahead. I am confident that the future is bright!
To friends of Rotary, you might wonder, what defines a Rotarian?
I first heard this definition from an exemplary Rotarian Brenda Halloran and resonates deeply: a Rotarian is someone who digs wells from which they will never drink, vaccinates children they will never meet, restores sight for those they will never see, builds houses they will never live in, educates children they will never know, plants trees they will never sit under, and feeds the hungry without regard to race, religion, or politics.
